The stamp, when affixed to the envelope or parcel denotes that the cost of the transportation (postage) has been paid to the carrier (Post and Telegraph dedpartment). Because the 'postage stamp' remains on the envelope or parcel and bears a seal of the office of the Post & Telegraph, it is delivered to the destination, not by you or me but by the postal department.
Similarly, the cost of taking you back to the Heavenly Father has been paid by Jesus Christ by His own blood. And God the Father has sealed us with His Holy Spirit that we are now His sons. We cannot get to Him by our own efforts - "not by might nor by power but by my Holy Spirit" Zac.4:6
Just trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you, and faithful is He who has promised and He will do it.
